Violence against women is a major public health problem and a violation of ones human rights. Most violence and abuse takes place in intimate relationships. Carolyn’s story is no different. She shares a very detailed account of manipulation, subtlety, and the rollercoaster of being in an intimate and abusive relationship. It is powerful, yet jaw dropping in parts and most importantly valuable to those who could be potentially involved in a similar sort of relationship.
