A discussion on how to get to the other side of a toxic relationship and finding a path to take your life back! In the early stages of this it can be almost impossible to see a pathway to getting to the other side of this. It often feels like there is no way through and that no one truly understands what you are going through. The key to moving forward is acceptance, re-baselining your life, and realizing when you are beating your head against the wall. You have to learn to re-focus your time and energy to creating (and maintaining) your own peace, building on the relationship with your children (if you have any), and ultimately removing the chaos from your life. This last part can be extremely difficult because you can become “comfortable” with chaos and in some ways might even seek it out. This is a normal part of the process
