Javi Gutierrez wasn't always an always optimistic, funny, relaxed and blissed out man who is now the founder of the successful Miami studio Breathtribe. Javi had just moved to the US from Spain, and the adaptation was a lot to say the least. A new language. A divorce. A child. Stress. Back pain, body pain, and as a result, he did what many do and tried to escape by turning to alcohol and other distractions. Then he was introduced to the Wim Hof Method and it all changed. He felt alive again, back to being himself, and the pain (emotionally and physically) began to fade. He couldn't believe how much life could change simply by learning how to breathe consciously.
