前段时间，我们聊了英文职场“黑话”，今天的节目我们依然是要聊一聊英文职场又地道又实用的表达。

1. Brainstorm 头脑风暴

This means to generate ideas as a group to solve a problem or create something new.

指团队成员集思广益、碰撞想法的过程，以便解决问题或提出创新方案。

Example: Let’s brainstorm some solutions to the current bottleneck.

例句: 让我们头脑风暴一下，想出当前瓶颈问题的解决方案。

2. Think outside the box 跳出固定思维模式

This means to approach a problem in a creative or unconventional way. “Box” 指的是固有的思维框架，跳出“box”意味着突破常规，采用创新思维。

Example: We need to think outside the box to solve this issue.

例句: 我们需要跳出固有思维来解决这个问题。

3. Go the extra mile 付出额外努力

This means to put in extra effort to achieve something, often exceeding expectations.

“多走一英里”意味着超出预期地努力工作，通常会带来更好的结果。

Example: She always goes the extra mile to meet client expectations.

4. Sync up 信息同步

This means to delay or postpone something.

指推迟任务或日程，常用于工作中的变更安排。

Example: We may need to push back the deadline due to unexpected issues.

10. Stay on track 保持进度

This means to stick to the schedule or plan without deviating.

指按照计划进行，确保不会偏离目标。

Example: We’re slightly behind, but I think we can stay on track if we focus.

11. Cut to the chase 开门见山

This means to get to the point quickly without unnecessary details.

源自电影术语，chase原本是指好莱坞电影里的追逐戏分，一般是作为铺垫，所以不太重要。所以cut to the chase就指跳过这些片段直接看重点情节。工作中，cut to the chase指跳过不重要的部分，直接进入正题。

12. Call it a day 收工/下班

This means to stop working for the day.

用于表达一天的工作结束，可以用于下班、结束会议等场景。
