"Caring for the Earth" with Cynthia Jurs
Manage episode 458754108 series 2996658
35 years ago Cynthia Jurs met a 106 year old Lama in Tibet and asked him a question that changed the course of her life.
Join us for an inspiring conversation about her new memoir “Summoned By the Earth”. We get into:
- the wisdom of trusting your intuition
- the power of looking to the stars for guidance
- how to collaborate and co-create with the help that is always available to us
- a near death experience that resolved a conflict on her spiritual path
Cynthia shares how Earth Treasure Vases are a form of acupuncture for the Earth; designed to bring elemental imbalances into harmony in places that need healing and protection. She also speaks of the wide diversity of meaningful encounters and friendships this path has led her to including:
- the influence of her beloved mentor Thich Nhat Hanh
- becoming a mindfulness teacher for the violent Liberian war general Christian Bethelson
- partnering with the courageous and fierce peace activist Neema Namadamu
Cynthia’s journey invites us to open to guidance from the natural world while we explore meaningful questions at this pivotal time of collective awakening.
