Emmet is currently living in the United States, and he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 13.

Despite still only being 17 years old, Emmet’s curiosity and experience around his Diabetes management is what eventually led him to pursue his passion of story telling, by writing and creating his first kid’s book, “Drew Discovers Diabetes”.
