Silke is a seasoned ex-pat born in Germany, which she left at the age of two, she was raised in Central America and has lived with her family in many countries including the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Singapore, and lastly Dubai. She started working on fashion shows in Argentina, Singapore, and Dubai, including ArabFashionWeek and Fashion Forward.
“Packing up my life and family every three to four years showed me how challenging transitions in life can be and how important and empowering the right outfit can make us feel.”
She decided to pursue her interest in fashion and become a Style Coach at 50. She founded her business SILKEstyles, upon arrival in Dubai, and has been consulting women from all walks of life, as well as working alongside with sustainable and slow fashion brands in the UAE.
