What cultivates a sense of loyalty? What makes someone a loyal friend?

Yesterday was my nephew’s funeral – a heart-wrenching time. As I reflected on what I want his children to remember about their father, what stood out the most was his sense of loyalty. When others would turn away in judgment or anger, he would stick with you and support you through the tough times.

I took this into meditation, and today I’d like to share the insights that could help us all stick together and support each other with compassion as we weather the storms of this life journey.
