Words are tools. Our language helps shape our thoughts and perceptions of ourselves and others. In this episode, we will learn how to stop pathologizing neurodivergence by embracing the neurodiversity paradigm, which states there is no “normal” or “right” style of the human brain or mind, any more than there is no “normal” or “right” ethnicity, sexuality, gender, or culture. Also, a brief introduction to what it means to neuroqueer.
