Hello and welcome back to the Miss Amanda Chen Show. We are now in Season 4 of the 100 Masked Men series, where I anonymously interview different men from all walks of life about self identity, self worth and self love.
On the theme of building better relationships, this week we're focusing on the most important relationship - the one we have with ourselves.
Masked Man #79 is the Isolated Man. He shares his experience about living alone for the first time and getting really comfortable with himself. So comfortable that socializing with people now is more of a challenge because he enjoys his company so much now. I'm sure we can all relate to this after the lockdown.
In this episode we talk about feelings of resentment when we feel the other person isn't valuing our worth or even considering us in their plans. I don't think anyone intentionally tries to exclude the other from making a decision for the both of us, but how do we keep our eyes open for those non verbal cues that might suggest someone is uncomfortable about speaking up.
