Nurse Cindy Nguyen shares her Money Story. Cindy grew up in a household with a dad who
was very frugal and financially responsible, traits that Cindy learned and still carries today.
Cindy shares how seeing the impact the 08 financial crisis had on her parents it motivated
her to be seen as an asset and not a burden to those around her. Cindy shares how after going
to nurse camp at the age of 16 she decided that was the career for her and began to develop a
plan to make her dream a reality. Hear how Cindy was able to graduate from college and
nursing school debt free. After Cindy first became a nurse she struggled with imposter
syndrome and felt she didn’t deserve the amount of money that she was earning, that changed
after she read the book “You’re a Badass” by Jen Sincero. Hear what her life is like now as she
works in labor and delivery where she gets to play a very important role in what is one of the
