Hey y'all, I'm Lora! Welcome to my podcast, Lora's Lounge, where I'll be talking a little about whatever I want, but will mainly focus on mental health, parenting and self-improvement. This episode you're about to hear is actually more of a bonus episode, (Episode #0) because it's my back story of starting off as an OG Mommy Vlogger in 2008, with my YouTube channel LoraAndLayton that currently has around 250,000 subscribers and over 120million views. This episode is me popping back onto my channel after being gone for about three years, to get caught back up with the community and to go over some things that have been on my mind recently. I talk about what lead me to become a mommy vlogger, what lead me to quit, and what I think about what has become of family vlogging over the years. (Spoiler alert... it's become super toxic for many.) I also talk a bit about my plans to transition my YouTube channel from family vlogging to my video podcast. I'm really excited to start this new chapter, to dive deep, to share, to catch up and connect in the comfy confines of Lora's Lounge!!
