The INSPIRED Youth Day Program is a Prevention & Recovery Program , sponsored by the City of Jacksonville’s Opioid Settlement Proceeds Grant in partnership with the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, for youth ages 10 to 15 years old at risk of opioid misuse or with substance misuse disorders and/or who are struggling with mental illness. When faced with crisis, challenges, and trauma; youth and their families often need additional support beyond what traditional services can provide. They need the support of others who can provide guidance, education, recovery support, treatment, and care coordination. The IY Program provides the additional recovery services the youth and family need to build positive social supports, coping techniques, and life skills, so that the youth can feel heard, seen, and loved.
