Interviewing my Mom about Her Life

Ignorance is Blessed with Jessica Michelle Singleton

I jumped on a zoom with my mom a couple months ago to ask her about her life. I was excited to share her with all of you after having mentioned her in so many insane and funny stories all these years and I actually learned quite a few things while talking to her. A few months after this episode, she was diagnosed with lung cancer which really made me think about time and family and what we do with our lives here on earth. Luckily, the treament seems to have gone fine and she just retired at the end of November after over 30 years working for the government. She's currently on a cruise in Hawaii. I hope to get a chance to do another one of these soon because there's still so much I have never really heard from her about her life and she's an incredible story teller.
