Prof. Thomas Seyfried is a professor of biology at Boston College and a leading researcher in cancer metabolism. He is best known for his book Cancer as a Metabolic Disease, where he argues that cancer is primarily caused by mitochondrial dysfunction rather than genetic mutations. Seyfried holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Biochemistry and completed postdoctoral training in neurology at Yale University.
