Episode 162 of the Fit Father Project Podcast is all about earning your life and finding the bliss and beauty in all the little things.

In this episode, you’ll meet Akshay Nanavati, a United States Marine veteran, speaker, entrepreneur, ultra runner, Arctic explorer, and author.

He served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was later diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Through a process of his own deep darkness and consequently his healing afterward, he was able to create a philosophy called ‘fearvana.’

His book FEARVANA: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear into Health, Wealth, and Happiness teaches the science of transforming your negative emotions into positive experiences.

Akshay is one of my dear, close, personal friends and also one of the craziest guys that I know. And I mean crazy in the right kind of way. Crazy in the kind of way that inspires and pushes us to look at our limitations and fears and push the boundaries to be our best selves.

We dig deep into his life philosophy, mission, and vision, and there is so much that you can learn from it.

We also get into his next adventure — a solo crossing of Antarctica, skiing with a 400-pound sled over 100 days in a row for roughly 12 hours a day!
