Growing up as I child I use to think that the God of the bible was just one God. As I gotten older and see the bible through a higher lens, I see that the people had options and the main Elohim God (Yahweh) in the Old Testament wasn’t having it. He was notable for saying “For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” (Exod. 34:14). Some leading researchers on emotion argue that jealousy is not an emotion at all, but a union of fluctuating feelings of anger, fear, sadness, or disgust. Jealousy emerges when a valued relationship with another person is threatened by a rival who appears to be competing for attention, affection, or commitment.
