Have you ever considered what courage it takes to uproot your life and start afresh? Well, my guest for today, Dan Mykeyev is no stranger to such a challenge. Having immigrated to Canada from Ukraine as a teenager, he embarked on a career in the Canadian Armed Forces that spanned over 22 years.
Touching on his vast experiences, we get to understand how traveling to 32 different countries, most of them through military service, shaped his worldview and identity. Yet, amidst these exciting adventures Dan encountered a new world of self-discovery and growth.
Dan's story is a reminder to all of us that the most important things in life start with the people around us, and it's ok to venture in new directions when a long time career is no longer a fit.
