One was in Accounting ( I am a CPA) and the other in sales. I started my first business when I was 27 years old. Nicoat (Now ICP Industrial) is a specialty chemical business serving the printing and packaging industry worldwide. The first five years of starting the business, my wife was in graduate school and we lived on credit cards. It was brutal. We also had a few kids along the way. We turned the corner in the sixth year made a little money and every year there after we grew double digit until we reached about 25 million in revenue. I then sold the majority of the business, ran it for several years as CEO and then sold a final time. The second business I started is what I currently do now. I am a Professional EOS Implementer and a Vistage Chair. I help entrepreneurs/business owners and CEO’s and their leadership teams get more of what they want from their business and lead a more balanced life. On a personal note, I married my high school sweetheart, we have four awesome adult children and several precious grandchildren.
