This November, Agape Redwood Rogers takes the spotlight as our featured guest!

Agape is the Board Search Practice Lead at The Family Business Consulting Group (FBCG). She spearheads recruitment efforts to establish and revitalize high-performing advisory and fiduciary boards for multi generational family businesses across various industries worldwide. Collaborating closely with families, she recruits and places board members who bring fresh perspectives and specialized skills to the table. She aims to cultivate a diverse and dynamic board that reflects the family business's vision, needs, and goals.

Prior to FBCG, Agape led the Corporate Board Initiative (CBI) at the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), a prestigious leadership program designed to educate and support Fortune 500 C-suite executives as they secure highly sought-after corporate board roles.

Agape’s foundation in business began in her family's private enterprise, where she witnessed firsthand the resilience and unique challenges of family businesses. Leveraging this experience, she co-founded Signature Media Group Speakers (SMG) with her sister. As Vice President of SMG, a full-service speaker bureau representing nationally recognized thought leaders and talent, Agape played a pivotal role. She coached and advised clients, developed innovative strategies, and implemented solution-driven systems, significantly contributing to the company’s success.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Agape is a passionate advocate for the social and economic development of minority communities. She hosted the Women of Power Initiative in Cape Town, South Africa, empowering women of color through learning, networking, and growth opportunities. Additionally, as a certified Clifton StrengthsFinder Coach, Agape supports individuals and teams in discovering and leveraging their strengths.

Agape lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and daughter. She enjoys reading, yoga, and traveling with family and friends, continually seeking new experiences and knowledge.

“Under The Hood” desire is to create a safe space where C-Level professionals share their journey while discussing techniques and answers to some of the most difficult and challenging questions a leader can face in their professional and personal journey.
