So in today's conversation, you will hear from Janelle Dixon-Blake, diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at 18 while attending Teachers College. RA is an autoimmune condition that affects the joints over time. Janelle describes how she felt after receiving the diagnosis and how it altered her life. Her last flare-up was March of this year when she was bedridden and going through the pain! Fast forward to now, she is in good spirits as she continues to recover.
