In today's conversation, you will hear from Sandra Samuels. Ms. Samuels is the CEO of the Totally Male Spa & Salon in Jamaica, a Rotarian, and a Breast Cancer Survivor for 22 years and counting. She was diagnosed at 35 years old with stage 2 cancer when she did a partial radical mastectomy minus the muscles on her left breast. We spoke about her treatment process, her pivotal emotional moment during treatment, and how she overcame the obstacles. She stressed the importance of early detection, awareness/education, and support services or groups. Take a listen.
