Casey Smith chats with Jeff and Kari Patterson, church planters of Renew Church, in Oregon City, Oregon. Jeff serves the church with vision, theology, preaching, and leadership; and Kari serves in a variety of capacities as a writer/speaker and homeschool mama. The conversation begins with a funny story about how their friendship began, travel through some of Marva Dawn's work on Christian ministry and community, and find their way through the trials and joys of church planting as a ministry couple.
