Monique Farook (she/her), the host of the Infertility and Me podcast, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in the Spring of 2016, in preparation for IVF. A year before getting the diagnosis, she noticed a decline in sexual desire and libido. She assumed it was because of stress from her career and working long hours. She had no idea until further researching the condition of how hypothyroidism affects reproductive sexual health and fertility.
