Alex Flores is a 28-year-old Black-Latinx person who uses they/them pronouns. From 2015-2017 they were in the military and have since been honorably discharged. Alex experienced too many encounters with sexual harassment while in the military, and even a case of sexual assault, which lead to trauma and distrust.
In this episode, we explore trauma and depression related to military sexual harassment and assault, an unhealthy relationship that lead to a pregnancy, the death of their father, and racism in the South.
