In this podcast we talk with Reinhard Strametz about the Second Victim Phenomenon in the younger generation of healthcare providers, as well as how healthcare organizations, leaders and peers can support them.
Reinhard Strametz is the General Secretary of German Coalition for Patient Safety and Vice Chair of European Researchers' Network Working on Second Victims (ERNST Group).
Dr. Strametz is a specialized anaesthesiologist in quality and clinical risk management, economist and professor for Patient Safety at Wiesbaden Business School.
