She came to the podcast with her story of immigrating from Venezuela to the US and how she had to forgive the ignorance of some Americans and even herself for feeling bad about taking an opportunity to better herself and it was a powerful conversation!

Bio: Maria Winters is a licensed mental health therapist, a trained life coach, and a Psychology professor. She provides talks and workshops on different topics related to emotional wellness, and works in emergency mental health in a hospital setting. Maria was born in Venezuela and moved to the U.S.A 21 years ago. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
