It takes a knack for rhyming words to be a rapper. a great set of vocal chords to be a singer and a good sense of timing and rhythm to be a DJ. But it damn near takes an extra eye to be a filmmaker. You’ve got to balance telling other peoples stories with entertaining an eager audience. Capturing the moments that matter to the film with the scenes that give the crowd a memory. Staying true to the script while being authentic to the business. And all of this happens after the politics of people with deep pockets and separate agendas that do not include the truth, get involved.

No one needs to explain any of the above to the Queens NY native, Geo Santini. The film director has been on the steady walk into these very issues since his career switched from producing Hip-Hop tracks, to directing Hip-Hop videos, to finally directing shorts, plays and feature length films. But how does he decide on which stories to tell? Whose point of view to use? Which actors to include? Will he be ready for the inevitable attempts at corruption that are coming?
