Welcome to the new year Midfielders!
It's the offseason, so you know what that means, it's time to reach into our bag of friends and bring on the guests! Up first is our bud Marshall the Marshal! No seriously, it took Patrick a good bit to get his head around it too. It's his name, AND his job. Well, volunteer side gig, but still super-cool nonetheless!
As always with a first guest, we get the history. The origin story of our new friend's race fandom. From an early age, Marshall's been clued in; to the ins and outs of the ins and outs on the track. Over 365 days in his Marshaling logbook, he gives us lowdown on what's a good/bad day for a track marshal, some of his favorite racing memories, and what it takes to BE a track marshal.
