Iulia Russu's story is one of courage and resilience, sprinkled with a touch of youthful innocence. Growing up in Romania, she felt the weight of societal expectations that stifled her authenticity. Thankfully, she found solace within her family, who nurtured her spirit of inquiry and encouraged her to speak her mind. At a tender age of 17 or 18, she made the bold leap to leave her homeland behind, seeking a more liberating environment. Settling in Amsterdam at 19, she reveled in newfound independence, yet grappled with the pangs of homesickness. Through it all, her journey has been guided by a deep connection to self, cultivated through practices like Kundalini yoga and meditation. Now, at the cusp of turning 24, Iulia continues to navigate life's twists and turns with clarity and grace, all while cherishing the bonds of family that shaped her into the person she is today.
