When I did this journey, my Hall was full of jars of herbs, hag stones, high top shoes… to share a few… It felt like a spirit fair as I went from table to table… so much to see and touch!
I was drawn to one decoratively carved door, with a little door within it. As I approached, the door opened to send out the most wonderful smell of baking bread from within. This brought tears to my eyes as I remembered the special animal cookies I used to get at the corner dime store with creaky wooden floors... at my Gramma’s house. Those cookies… laced with anise seed flavor and colorful frosting sprinkled with little candy balls! were my favorite! Something I haven’t thought of for years… always something of emotion to ponder on these journeys! Embrace yours…
