In today’s episode, I'm breaking down a familiar tyranny of positivity - the mentally strong checklist. It's fantastic that we are all seeking to insulate ourselves from things that keep us off the ‘mentally strong’ list. However the phrase might suggest to some that we are mentally weak if we don’t follow the checklist. I’m here to tell you, that is absolutely absurd.
