Ken Parsons and Paul Rothermel, both attorneys with the Minnesota Department of Human Services, joined The Career Corner to talk about the services the department and its approximately 6,500 employees provide to the state of Minnesota. Topics include data privacy, health law, and government benefits. Ken and Paul also discussed the great externship opportunities available with the department, along with tips for finding long-term work with the government, success as a both a mentor and a mentee, and the importance of saying yes and making the most of opportunities as they arise.
