With everything going on in the world right now we felt sharing some simple and effective strategies for dealing with health anxiety and uncertainty around the Corona Virus (Covid-19) might be helpful.
Dr. Sheftel is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Portland Anxiety Clinic, LLC. She is committed to integrating evidence-based models with the wisdom of person-focused care in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet the specific needs of each individual. Dr. Sheftel has experience working as a VA psychologist and expertise providing the gold standard in research based PTSD treatment, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Dr. Sheftel works with adolescents and adults in the office, community, and home-based settings.
