One of the more hokey sayings in transformational leadership training is we are human BEings, not human DOings.

It’s a cheeky way to tell people to chill the f*ck out, be present and pay attention.

Boy did that generate a whole bunch of eye rolling for me when I began my own personal development journey. Like, sprain the connective tissue attaching my eyeballs into my noggin.

Then I woke the f*ck up.

Truth is, being still, really still, and paying attention has a monumental impact on everything - how I see myself, how I see others and of course how I move through the world.

In this week’s episode I explore the concept of being present, share a story from a spa from a million years ago, an experience from today and of course relate all that to dogs and how all that blends together and makes us more human.
