76. My son’s passing - and the lessons I continue to learn
Manage episode 460883355 series 3560930
Trigger Warning. This episode is about my son who was stillborn in 2019. I share a few moments that I experienced in the hospital. If you have lost a child, experienced a stillbirth or miscarriage, please be gentle in your listening. My hope is that you find comfort in my story, that you are not alone. And that we can continue to heal together.
My son Jackson would have been 6 years old this year. And on his 6th birthday (1/5/2025) I connected the dots to a major lesson from that experience to where I struggle as a parent still today.
I think this is a great way to reframe our goals as parents in 2025 and how to approach this whole thing in a new way.
I invite you to listen, to cry, to be WITH the hard feelings. And to connect with me afterwards. Sending you so much love as we embark on a new year together.
