Squatters saw a rental listing online, broke into the property, and moved in. The investor's Realtor noticed someone occupying the property and called the police.
When the police arrived, the squatters presented a fake lease. The police told the Realtor that this was a civil matter and that there was nothing they could do. They would have to take this up in court.
