Life is not some 24-hour day evenly segmented into eight hours for work, sleep and personal time. And the concept of balance is unrealistic, and chasing some illusory sense of “balance” only leads to increasing the stress you're supposed to be decreasing by being balanced. Today I talk about how I threw out the concept of balance and replaced it with boundaries and have been happier and grounded since doing this and so can you.
