Nextech3D.AI completes Eventdex acquisition to accelerate blockchain-enabled AI event platform

Nextech3D.AI CEO Evan Gappelberg joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce that the company has completed its acquisition of Eventdex, an AI-powered registration and badge-printing software provider serving more than 60 enterprise and institutional clients, including Yale University, AbbVie, Merck, and the Institute for Supply Management. Eventdex delivers registration, on-site check-in, and badge-printing solutions for major conferences, trade shows, and corporate events, generating approximately $750,000 in 2024 revenue and $500,000 year-to-date in 2025. Gappelberg explained that with the acquisition finalized, Eventdex will be fully integrated into Nextech3D.AI’s growing ecosystem—particularly with Map D, the company’s interactive floor plan and exhibitor management platform. The integration creates an end-to-end solution for event organizers, combining AI-driven registration, interactive mapping, ticketing, mobile applications, matchmaking, and on-site badge printing under one unified technology stack. The CEO also revealed that Eventdex’s identity and registration platform will play a central role in advancing Nextech3D.AI’s blockchain ticketing initiative. By linking Eventdex’s capabilities with Nextech’s EventToken.com, EventDrop.io, and NextechTickets.com platforms, the company is moving toward next-generation blockchain-based ticketing expected to debut in 2025–2026.
