Synopsis: For years this verse was misunderstood and misquoted by religious people when Jesus said in Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" When you read this verse you think that to have an eternal life, you should suffer, be sad all the time but on the other side, the people who are going through the wide gate, they will enjoy life and have fun here but they will never go to Heaven. If you meditate and read this verse and you ask the Holy Spirit to explain to you what does this actually mean, He will show you that the gate is narrow because there is One Gate, one Road which is Jesus. In John 14:6, Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Jesus was talking about Himself. That's why it's crucial to interpret the Bible with the Bible. Try not to be affected by traditions and culture and research by yourself.
