Welcome to this year’s Summer Flashback Series. I am taking a break this summer, as my husband and I just welcomed our 4th child, our precious daughter into the world on May 9th. I had originally planned to edit and release another 2 episodes that were previously recorded throughout the end of May, but our baby girl ended up arriving sooner than expected. Because of this, I am stopping earlier and decided to release the podcast episodes that have had the biggest impact on the audience. I love all of The More Than Your Age Podcast Episodes, but these are the select few that newer listeners may not have heard before, and ones that have stood out to many listeners. In the very first interview episode of The More Than Your Age Podcast, Erica Pasvar sits with local artist Sarah Hickey to discuss how her career drastically changed from an obvious closed door of what she thought her life was going to look like to an unexpected passionate business. As a form of therapy, Sarah turned to art to express what she was going through. Little did she know, that necessary outlet of hers helped transform her life. Sarah began her art business in her late 20s and soon after going full time found out she was pregnant with her first child. Listen in as we discuss the challenges of starting a business as a new mom and what she’s doing now in order to balance business and her current season in life.
