Some say they know the ocean
But they’ve only seen pictures
Some say they have seen the ocean but have only driven past a beach
Some say they have been to the ocean but have but merely dipped their toes in the foam of the waves
Some say they know the ocean but have barely touched it
The ocean is vast, how can anyone know it?
The same with His love
It is so vast, how can we know it?
Some say they know His love but have merely heard it in church on Sundays
They have not dived in and been truly immersed and covered by His powerful waves
We cannot fully understand the depths of the mysteries of His love
But may we dive in and seek as much as we can
