In today’s show, Keith catches up with his friend, singer-songwriter Hayley Gene Penner. Hayley talks about growing up with a famous father, starting out in the music industry, and moving to California, where she underwent a six-year ‘boot camp’ immersion in L.A life. She describes the sense of emotional freedom she experienced during the process of writing her refreshingly honest memoir, People You Follow, and explains how telling her story has helped her to become more aware of her behavioral patterns and given her a valuable insight into her romantic relationships. Hayley hopes that her honesty and vulnerability will enable readers to relate to her experiences and learn something about their own behavioral patterns from her frank and funny book.
