And in the US, a study by Wells Fargo showed that “the number of women-owned businesses between 2019 and 2023 increased at nearly double the rate of those owned by men, and from 2022 to 2023 the rate of growth increased four-fold.”
Women are focused, hungry and simply smashing it in new business ventures. And yet….when we look at how those new businesses are established and funded….the rosy picture changes dramatically. And is it all about the money?
