It's normal to overeat on occasion, but it's important to be able to distinguish between overeating and binge eating. Overeating and binge eating are often used interchangeably, but they are actually two very different things.
People who binge eat often feel embarrassed or ashamed afterward and may try to hide their binge eating from others. It is best to know more about this topic especially if you are noticing a problem with how you eat.
However, with treatment, it is possible to overcome binge eating and develop healthier eating habits. So if you're struggling with your relationship with food, know that there is help available. And remember, taking care of yourself is always worth it.
