We are very aware these days that men get paid more, get more funding, and as a generalisation ask for so much more… assuming they will get it.

Growing up, us women don't get taught to ask for that much. Instead we are encouraged to be helpful.

We’re taught to be ‘good girls’.

To be grateful for what we’ve got.

To be careful what we ask for.

To be cautious and humble.

And when we do ask for something, we tend to ask for just a little bit more… to have something just a little bit better.

But this doesn’t help us change the system.

We women are extraordinary.

It’s time you ask for more.

To ask for what you really want.

To ask for what feels outrageously ‘unreasonable’!

In this episode, I talk about how you can figure out what you REALLY want, how to ask for it (and to have the confidence to negotiate) - and why women having more will make things better for everyone.
