The Antidote to Racism in Business with Trudi Lebrón
Manage episode 337334917 series 2769471
Today on the Everything Belongs Podcast, Madison is in conversation with Trudi Lebrón. Trudi Lebrón is the CEO of ScriptFlip! LLC and creator of the Institute for Equity Centered Coaching. By the time Trudi was 16, she had two children and had dropped out of high school—all the odds were against her. Today, Trudi runs a million-dollar coaching and consulting firm, helping entrepreneurs and coaches build antiracist businesses and become equity-centered coaches and leaders through ScriptFlip! certification programs, consulting packages, and executive coaching. Trudi holds a BA in Theatre, a Master of Science in Psychology, and is currently ABD in a PhD program in Social Psychology.
In this episode, Madison and Trudi speak on the lenses she brings to her DEI work, including young, single mother, high-school opt-out, and college graduate, as well as why seeing that "Anti" means "antidote" helps us understand what anti-racism is. Plus, Trudi discusses running and creating a value-based business, and why building an ethical business based in DEI and justice doesn't have to be anti-capitalist or against the building of wealth.
