In this episode of the DoorWays® Ministry Network podcast, Ric Shields talks with his wife, Sheila, and Rachel Middleton about Simply Sisters®, a ministry established in 2012.
Led by women, Simply Sisters® reaches out to other women in life-altering circumstances such as miscarriages, divorces, cancer diagnoses, or the loss of a friend or loved one. They provide encouragement through giving baskets filled with personal care items, devotional books, handmade items, and more. The gifts are sent across the US to women in need of encouragement.
The ministry also hosts international events in partnership with local churches, where they share testimonies and invite women to begin a relationship with Jesus. The podcast also mentions the possibility of expanding Simply Sisters® groups beyond Tulsa.
