We recognised from years of coaching and our research that too many people were in pain and not living the life they expected, desperate for a more profound connection with themselves and those closest to them.

It's our life's work to guide people to rediscover their healthy power and find their answers to live the life they truly desire. We believe in human potential and we are deeply passionate about the betterment of others.

Our method born in Byron Bay, our life here is all about sun, sand, sea, waterfalls, rainforests, and moments to connect with all that nature offers. It's more than that; it's a place to heal and rebalance, a journey home to oneself.

Life goes back in time to the simple and good to nourish our souls—an unhurried sense of enjoyment of the world. People travel from all over to experience the Byron Bay lifestyle. Many stay, many wish they could, and many leave with the soul of Byron in their hearts.

In this episode, you will:

  • Gain insights into the complexities of conscious relationships and the impact of childhood on adult behavior.

  • Understand the importance of self-awareness and radical responsibility for fostering healthy connections.

  • Learn how facing and embracing shadows can lead to personal growth, resilience, and the pursuit of authentic relationships.

Sasha and Daniel provide immense insight on:

Modeling Dysfunction:

  • Sasha and Daniel discuss the lack of models for healthy conscious relationships.

  • Our patterning often comes from dysfunctional relationships, especially from our parents.

  • The challenge lies in breaking the cycle of attracting wounds due to familiarity.

The Essence of Relationships:

  • Relationships are fundamental to human existence, essential for love, growth, and learning.

  • Complications arise in relationships due to individual definitions of dysfunction and function.

  • The pursuit of a conscious functional relationship involves navigating various layers of understanding.

Radical Responsibility and Self-Awareness:

  • Sasha emphasizes the importance of self-awareness in relationships.

  • Hyper-focus on personal contributions to dysfunction or function is key.

  • The radical responsibility involves recognizing and addressing one's own shadows and blind spots.

Impact of Childhood and Unhealed Wounds:

  • Childhood experiences, even those pre-verbal, shape individuals and leave blind spots.

  • Unhealed childhood wounds and beliefs influence adult behavior and relationships.

  • The challenge is to become aware of these wounds and actively work towards healing and integration.

Overcompensation and Integration:

  • Overcompensating for perceived parental shortcomings can lead to new forms of dysfunction.

  • Integrating suppressed aspects of oneself involves peeling back layers and facing triggers.

  • Situations that challenge individuals serve as opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

Breaking Free from Familial Norms:

  • Many individuals adopt familial norms as "normal" until exposed to contrasting experiences.

  • Recognizing dysfunctional patterns requires self-reflection and questioning the status quo.

  • Breaking free from the belief that dysfunction is the only reality is crucial for personal growth.

Avoidance and Fear of Facing Dysfunction:

  • Avoidance and fear often prevent individuals from confronting their dysfunctional patterns.

  • The journey to face and overcome dysfunction is initially daunting but leads to internal strength.

  • The pain of transition is a necessary part of the process, ultimately resulting in a victorious emergence.

Devouring Mother and Rites of Passage:

  • The devouring mother archetype refers to a dynamic where a son becomes emotionally enmeshed with his mother, hindering his journey into manhood.

  • Rites of passage rituals historically involved separating the boy from his mother, inducing fear to break emotional survival connections.

Emotional Enmeshment and Manhood:

  • The devouring mother can inadvertently prevent a boy from embracing manhood by fulfilling her emotional needs through the son.

  • This enmeshment can lead to the son being passive, weak, and struggling to develop the necessary strength for adulthood.
