Silence becomes cowardice when the occasion demands speaking the whole truth. No one wants to live their life as a coward. Everyone wants to be able to look the mirror and respect the person they see looking back.
We begin to lose respect for ourselves when we go along with what we know we shouldn’t. We begin to lose our dignity when we allow our fears to prevent us from standing up for those who need defending including themselves.
A person without self respect and self dignity is no longer truly alive. They only exist.
Speak up. Don’t remain silent.
